The share of organic traffic in the Dutch marketing mix has grown significantly since our collaboration began, making the mix healthier and less reliant on paid channels.

Brandfirm also supports Joolz's international expansion. Together, we map markets and identify search intent and demand for each foreign market, from Italy to the United States. We lay the foundation in each country to drive strong growth in visibility and traffic.

For new product launches, we ensure through close collaboration that new products rank above older versions in the top 10 search results or open new markets, such as 'car seats.'

With a targeted SEO strategy, we make sure Joolz is present at different stages of the customer journey, helping parents-to-be and new parents find their ideal products.

By focusing on non-branded keywords, we build awareness of the Joolz brand and products both nationally and internationally.

Project challenge

Joolz is a strong brand but was primarily visible organically only for branded searches. This left the brand heavily dependent on paid advertising. Our goal was to increase organic visibility for generic (non-branded) keywords to reduce reliance on advertising in a highly competitive market.

Our approach

We started with the key markets of the Netherlands and Germany, conducting keyword research to understand search intent. This led to the creation of new content pages (45 for the Netherlands and 29 for Germany). We used link building to boost page authority.

After seeing success in these markets, we applied the same strategy to emerging markets where Joolz is expanding, such as the UK, Spain, and the United States.

Project results

We achieved growth across all target markets (the Netherlands, Germany, the UK, and the United States). Numerous content pages were created, a comprehensive SEO action plan is in place, and initial actions have been implemented. Joolz now ranks in the top 10 for generic keywords in all countries, with many keywords reaching the top 3 positions, often boasting search volumes of 10,000+.
